Abstract
In the third year, we have proposed a
novel frequency-domain Interpolation-based
channel estimation algorithm for the MC-CDMA
system based on pilot subcarriers. The
estimation accuracy can be shown to
outperform the conventional frequency-domain
channel interpolators. Moreover, comparing to
time-domain DFT-based channel estimators,
the proposed algorithm greatly reduces the
hardware complexity. In addition, the
architecture modification and IC design of such
a MC-CDMA baseband receiver incorporating
the proposed WLS estimation for residual
synchronization errors as well as the
aforementioned channel estimation algorithm
has been completed
