Abstract
An injection-locked weak-resonant-cavity FPLD (WRC-FPLD) with transient response switching for wavelength reused full-duplex transmission with downstream 10-Gbit/s NRZ-OOK and upstream 18-Gbit/s 64-QAM OFDM is demonstrated. No matter what injection wavelength is employed, the WRC-FPLD preliminarily confirms its data-erasing ability. By reusing the data-encoded downstream carrier for injection-locking, the 25-km SMF transmitted BER of 1.1×10 −3 is observed for the upstream 18-Gbit/s 64-QAM OFDM data.
