Abstract
We report on the fabrication and characterization of single-mode Ti:sapphire crystalline fibers. Using dip coating and high-temperature sintering at 1650 °C, solid-state single crystal growth was observed, and single-crystalline cladding was formed. ? 2020 OSA.
