Abstract
This research project integrates three
theoretical perspectives: transaction cost,
institutional and the social network perspectives,
to investigate the theoretical rationales and
economic performance of group affiliation in
emerging economies, by using data of 763 TSE
and OTC companies in Taiwan in 1997-99.
