Abstract
We can explore the world by Google Map Street View. However, it lacks efficiency in using of Google Map Street View system due to its discrete nature.We have to keep clicking the ”arrow” continuously so as to move forward.When we want to move a long distance, the process of repeated arrowclcking become very boring and troublesome. Hyperlapse provides another ways to view a lot of street view images. Nevertheless, its viewing experience is also not comfortable and tedius in a long time. In this thesis, we provide a virtual tour video generator system. Users select effects they want to view. After making a low resolution post-production pre-view video, the systme will generate a high-resolution street view video which includes all effects selected by user. Hence, the video can be used for pre- travel or tripreview. In addtion, user evaluation show that the proposed method increases the satisfication of users in viewing the street view sequence.
