Abstract
Thanks to the flourishing Internet industry, web application and service have become an essential to daily lifves nowadays. Meanwhile, the development of Broadband technology enables realtime interaction at a distance through the netwok. Furthermore, people could get prompt communication provided with Mobile Communication, one of the remarkable inventions in this century. epending on the increasing needs of Digital Convergence, Mobile Broadband, a.k.a. Wireless Broadband would naturally be the driver of the next Digital Revolution. Thus, WiMAX has made the pioneer in this current tendency. This study analyzed the WiMAX Competitive Strategy with the Dominant Design Perspective, to interpret what the competition advantages and the impacts on Mobile Communications Industry are. Through the case, Intel Co., this study look at the enabling strategy for Wimax. n summary, the results showed that WiMax would be one of the dominant designs of Mobile Broadband. Moreover, the study not only revealed what the key factors are but also suggested the market-entry strategies.
