Abstract
This study developed a smart medical drainage control system based on concepts of Internet of Thing and smart healthcare. The goal was to drain fluids from a patient's body in a precisely controlled manner. This research was proceeded in three phases, including prototype developed phase, accuracy calibrated phase and wireless control phase. In order to improve the accuracy of flow control, this study constructed a prediction model by using support vector regression (SVR) which predicts the rate of fluid flow and adjust the volume accordingly. We looked for an optimal set of parameters with grid algorithm in order to automatically control the flow velocities properly.
