Abstract
All the students in medical college are required to take Physiology course, but
very little discussion in physiology during exercise. On the other hand, health
promotion through physical activity is the major issue in medicine in recent years.
The course of Exercise Physiology for students in physical education is usually not
comprehensive, especially those topics related to medicine. We believe a more
comprehensive Exercise Physiology course will be very helpful for the students and
teachers in both areas, particularly those in Colleges and Universities based on their
influence.
The purpose of this project is to construct and format e-learning contents of
Exercise Physiology and teaching evaluation system. The design of the teaching
material will base on the education theories and include muscle physiology,
cardiopulmonary fitness, environmental exercise physiology, and exercise
physiology for the diseased.
The layout of the contents will utilize lots of figures, photos, multi-media, and
techniques of web communication and interactive/discussion function. All the
contents will meet the criteria of the Sharable Content Object Reference Model
(SCORM).
