Data were available on 469 students of a selected junior high school in Taipei City. According to the result of principal components analysis, three factors including poor parent-child relationship, concerning prospects, and study problems were defined for the perceived stress from daily events. A student's neurotic trait, poor parent-child relationship, and concerning prospects were selected as important predictors of perceived symptoms. School is suggested as a setting for delivering the parent-child education for stress coping. |
