Abstract
To increase the spectral efficiency, the
broadband wireless communications need
complex digital modulation techniques and
also high-linearity RF transmitters to lower
the distortions and increase reliabilities in
broadband applications.
For this one year research project, for
the first time, we have successfully
combined the pre-distorter, and the
variable-gain amplifier into one circuit,
which increases the integration level of
linearization techniques in transmitter
designs, that also published in IEEE IMS.
On the other hand, we have successfully
developed millimeter-wave IQ modulators
with linearization techniques, which have
been published in APMC and IEEE
transaction of MTT.
