Abstract
Feminist Jurisprudence is concerned with the gendered discourse in the legal her –or histories as well as with the ongoing projects of legal reforms. Since 1949 the famous French writer Simone de Beauvoir published her Le Deuxième Sexe, the world women movement attended its new age: It has no longer been “mere” powerful social movement but become one important participant in academic theoretical discourses.
In regarding the recent development of increasing gender/cultural identity interests in Taiwan, it is remarkable that the feminist approaches in jurisprudence have been entirely ignored by the leading scholars and groups. The research has focused on reconstructing the development of this
influential movement and its influence on the legal reforms and theories.
