Title: | 支援協同計算行動代理人平台之研發(3/3) | Authors: | 郭斯彥 | Keywords: | 行動代理人程式;XML;協同合作;資訊交換;資源管理;容錯;Mobile Agent;Collaborative Computing;Information Exchange;Resource Management;Fault Tolerance | Issue Date: | 31-Jul-2004 | Publisher: | 臺北市:國立臺灣大學電機工程學系暨研究所 | Abstract: | 行動代理人程式架構在分散式環境中提供了一個可設定的、可擴展的並且主動式的計 算平台,因此被視為具有在網際網路上提供一個可分享資源、服務及計算能力的全域性與 整合性計算平台之潛力。 而XML作為一個Markup Language 則具有在網際網路上不同系統與平台間資訊交換之 能力,也因此成為最有可能整合Intranet、Extranet 及Internet 上,同一組織或不同組織之間 不同系統服務之技術。 本計劃將探討XML 技術與行動代理人程式架構整合之可能。期望結合兩者之特性, 建立一可容易存取網際網路上之豐富資訊並充分了解與利用資訊內容的行動代理人程式架 構,使代理人程式之行為可依據這些充足的資訊而更完美的完成使用者交付之任務。 並且利用XML 之技術來整合原本個別獨立的行動代理人程式服務,藉由協同合作使 得行動代理人程式可以完成更複雜的工作,以滿足未來網際網路上使用者日漸複雜的行為 模式之需要。 另一方面則希望能依據此行動代理人程式架構作為支援協同合作之應用程式的發展平 台,提供易於使用的分散式服務開發介面,使應用程式開發者能充分發揮此架構提供之基 礎功能,專注於服務之開發。並且藉由行動代理人架構能夠隱藏網際網路上不同平台間之 異質性之能力,讓應用程式能夠容易的達成可擴充性與跨平台性。 同時,藉由行動代理人程式間之協同合作,加上資源管理及監控之機制,我們可以容 易的達成Load Balance 及容錯之功能。 Mobile Agents have been shown to be a promising approach to addressing the issues of ubiquitous computing: they have advantages in managing vast amount of information available in the fixed network, relieving the problems of slow, unreliable connectivity, and limited capacity inherited in mobile computers. Mobile Agent Infrastructure provides a computing platform in the configurable, scalable, and initiative way. XML as an information markup language has the ability to do information exchange on the Internet across the different platforms and operating systems. It is the most potential technology to integrate the systems and services in the same and different organizations on the Intranet, Extranet, and Internet. This proposal will discuss the possibility of integrating the Mobile Agent Infrastructure and the XML technology. We expect the integration of these two technologies will combine the advantages of both and construct a Mobile Agent Infrastructure that can easy access and understand the voluminous information on Internet. Thus, Mobile Agents can complete the user's intentions more impeccable according to the sufficient information. We will use the XML technology to chain the Mobile Agent Services that are individual originally. That will enhance the ability of individual Mobile Agent and make them more powerful on completing a complicate work. On the other hand, the Mobile Agent Infrastructure will support collaborative computing by providing an easily used distributed services development interface. The collaborative computing service developer can uses this interface to develop the collaborative computing applications. At the same time, the Mobile Agent Infrastructure can hide the heterogeneous among the different platform to provide the ability of platform independent and scalability. The collaboration of Mobile Agents and mechanism of resource management, and verification will make us easily achieve the load balance and fault tolerance. |
