Title: | 2004工程力學與數學創意教學研討會 | Authors: | 謝尚賢 | Issue Date: | 2004 | Publisher: | 臺北市:國立臺灣大學土木工程學系暨研究所 | Abstract: | 大專工程科系之力學與數學教育,是工程師養成教育中不可或缺且佔有相當比重之基 礎教育。現階段的大專教育受教者,其觀念與行為模式和十幾年前已大不相同,因受網路 與多媒體普及之影響,對抽象思考的接受能力較低,其慣用之學習方式是利用立體圖形與 影像來理解,且更期望能在學習理論同時,即能知道理論所能協助解決之實際問題,而長 期以來大專院校在力學與數學課程與教學上似並無太大改變。幾位在土木工程領域任教的 同仁及朋友們,有感於在工程力學與數學課程教學上所面臨普遍存在且似乎日益嚴重之問 題:學生學習動機與情緒低落而教師也常有教學成效不彰之無力感,因此舉辦「工程力學 與數學創意教學研討會」,一方面要向大家報告「整合性工程力學與數學教學課程之規劃、 設計與發展」的研究成果,希望能拋磚引玉,有更多的教師們能一同來關心與研究工程教 育的問題及提出因應之道,並給予我們的研究成果一些批評與指教,另一方面亦為了集思 廣義與收集各類型具有創意的教學輔具或方法,及邀請各大專院校的優良教師共同分享交 流彼此的授課經驗,也藉由這樣的機會收集寶貴的經驗及意見,並讓關心工程教育的各界 人士一同參與討論。最後研討會的成果以網站的型式呈現,以供無法前來會場且對於工程 教育有興趣的專家學者與各界人士參考。 The lack of motivation and interests for students in learning Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Mathematics related courses has become a common and increasingly serious problem in college Engineering education. The consequences are the decreasing learning quality of students and increasing frustration of teachers in these fundamental Engineering courses. To address this issue, we hold a conference to discuss how creative teaching and learning methods can help to improve teaching and learning of college Engineering Mechanics and Mathematics related courses. The objectives of the conference are two-folds: one is to present our research result on the design and development of an integrated curriculum and some computer-aided instruction tools for Engineering Mechanics and Mathematics related courses, and the other is to offer opportunities for scholars and experts to share their experiences and knowledge on college engineering education. |
