The method is of low accuracy and often takes too much time in measuring. The main objective of this study aims to integrate the technologies of laser and digital imagine process to measure rutting on pavement. And trying to make a machine integrating technologies above to verify the accuracy of the new measuring technology. If the technology passes the verification, we could improve the speed and accuracy in measuring rutting. After the verification, the technology could measure rutting with very high accuracy. However, the technology is strongly affected by the environments. Sometimes the measuring technology may fail under bad environments. It is suggested that improve the power of laser and the functions of the camera to ensure more accuracy of measuring rutting. |
