The two-order nonlinear speed formulation was deduced by using Taylor s series and chain rule. A model of nonlinear coordinated ramp-metering control was established. An example was calculated and simulated by matlab 6.5. The simulation results indicate that the nonlinear control model can make the flow on mainline more stable and relax the congestion in the rush hour. |
