dc.description.abstract | 本計劃採取質化研究取向探索人文學 者於其專業活動中資訊搜尋與使用的行 為,企圖了解並描述人文學者的工作任務 與目標 ;接觸資源的動機與行為特徵;促使 人文學者利用特定文獻資源的情境;以及了 解人文學者實際如何利用文獻資訊。最終 目標乃希望協助建立本土化資訊行為之理 論。本研究以深度訪談與非參與式觀察法 搜集實證資料,並以紮根理論與個案分析 的方法加以分析處理。研究結果顯示,各 種工作任務促使人文學者產生不同的需求 與資訊搜尋使用行為。本研究辨識出人文 學者接觸資源的需求包括: 形成問題意 識、釐清、採集一手資料、搜集、組織、 理解、驗證、詮釋、創造,與傳佈。接觸 資源時的行為特徵包括有: 瀏覽、檢索、 閱讀、記錄、標示、比對、獲取、重製、 交換訊息,與建立維持關係等。在資訊的 利用方面,人文學者將資訊用於 :指示、引 介、確認、建構、告知、佐證、解釋,與 啟發等用途。此外,人文學者所運用的資 源相當多元,除了文獻資料之外,來自人 際互動的資訊亦深受重視。 | zh_TW |
dc.description.abstract | This research explores the information seeking and use behavior of humanists using a qualitative approach. The study intends to understand and describe the tasks and goals of humanists’ work, their intentions to interact with information, the characteristics of information seeking behavior, the context, and their uses of information. The ultimate goal is to help establish local information behavior theory. Deep interview, and nonparticipant observation were used to collect empirical data which was analyzed from the approaches of grounded theory and case study. The results show that a variety of tasks invoke different information-related behaviors, and other major categories are identified, which are intentions, information seeking behaviors, information resources, and uses. The “intention” to interact with information includes: to formulate, to clarify, to collect, to acquire, to organize, to understand, to verify,to create, and to disseminate. The information seeking behaviors include: browsing, retrieving, reading, recording, marking, comparing, obtaining, reproducing, exchanging message, and establishing relationship. Within the various information resources, the channel of interpersonal network is important to humanists as well. The “uses” of information includes: directing, referring, confirming, verifying, constructing, informing, explaining, and enlightening. | en |
