Title: | Constant-rotation DCT architecture based on CORDIC techniques | Authors: | Duh, Wei-Jou JA-LING WU |

This processor is composed of a linear array of identical CORDIC processors combined with some 'accumulator-rings’. Since each processing element is identical with every other, this architecture is especially suitable for VLSI implementation, and the cost of design and implementation is reduced. The breadboard implementation of an eight-point constant-rotation DCT processor is also described for verification of the performance of the CRDCT. © 1990 Taylor & Francis Ltd. |
