關鍵字: | 詢問性史;態度;行為;性史內容;sexual history;attitude | 公開日期: | 2001 | 卷: | 5 | 期: | 1 | 起(迄)頁: | 33-39 | 來源出版物: | 醫學教育 | 摘要: | 本研究的目的在了解護理系在職進修班學生(一)對於詢問性史的態度及行為;(二)認 為詢問性史所應包括的內容;(三)願意和不願意詢問性史的原因。本研究採橫斷式問 卷調查研究法,隨機抽取某所醫學院護理學系在職進修班的兩班學生為研究對象,結 果顯示大多數的護生對於詢問性史抱持中立略偏負向的態度,護生普通認為自己缺乏 足夠知識、溝通技巧和能力來詢問性史。僅有20.0%的護生在過去一個月內曾主動問 病患的性史。而護生認為詢問性史所應包括的內容差異性大。絕大多數護生認為願意 詢問性史的原因是與病患的疾病有關;而歸納不願意詢問性史的原因,分別來自護生 本身、病患及環境。因此,未來護理教育者除了必須打破護生認為只有特殊科別或特 定的病患才會需要詢問性史外,還必須提供有關詢問性史的知識以及溝通技巧的課程 ,以提昇其能力,進而落實全人照護的工作。此外,護理人員還能具有角色模範的作 用,可讓個案了解其實談論性並非骯髒或需覺得有罪惡感的,因而建立民眾對於性的 正確觀念與健康的溝通管道。The purpose of this study was to explore re- entry undergraduate nursing students’ (a) attitudes and behaviors regarding sexual history taking, (b) understanding of the contents of a sexual history, and (c) the reasons for willingness and unwillingness about taking a sexual history. A cross-sectional design was used and subjects were randomly selected from two classes of one medical college. The results of the study show that most nursing students have a slightly negative attitude in relation to sexual history taking. They felt that they lacked the knowledge, communication skills and abilities to take an adequate sexual history. Only 20.0% of the participants had taken a sexual history in the past month. Their impressions of what should be included when taking a sexual history varied. The major reason for willingness about taking a sexual history was an awareness by the nursing student that the patients’illness was related to their sexual history. Three major reasons for unwillingness about taking a sexual history were : nursing students’ personal concerns, patient factors and environmental factors. Accordingly, nursing educators should in the future emphasize the need for sexual assessment in the general population rather than just in specific units or specific patient groups. In addition, the design of training programs to increase the knowledge and communication skills required for sexual history is called for. In this way nursing students can improve their confidence, their ability to provide holistic care, and also serve as a role model for their clients. If patients can understand that discussion of sex is appropriate and is not something to feel guilty about , then fruitful communication can be established. (Full text in Chinese) |
