Abstract
In this thesis, we construct a software using semi-analytical formalism for simulating
Sunyaev-Zel'dovich (SZ) maps, that is, calculating the SZ anisotropies
directly using results from theoretical models or observations. It is a timesaving
method, and the in
uence of the physical mechanism on the outputs
can be easily seen since the applied models are substitutable. With
these advantages, we produce SZ maps with large eld of view in relatively
shorter time in comparison with numerical simulations. We also discuss
on the dependence of the results on the components contributing to
the SZ anisotropies, such as mass functions, cosmological parameters, masstemperature
relations and cluster models. While in the near future, there
will be many SZ experiments such as PLANCK, AMiBA, SZA, AMI, etc.,
the semi-analytical method is a powerful tool for model testing or to make
predictions for future SZ surveys.
