中文部件與整字的關係探討(2/2)

Abstract

本研究計畫為二年期，探討中文的部件與整字之間的關係，此報告為第二年的成果。今年進一步深入探討部首與聲旁在整字辨識時的表徵與處理的不同，及其與整字之間的關係，並操弄不同的字形結構，來探討部件與結構的關係。結果發現，無論整字字頻的高低，部件皆有獨立的表徵，且部首與聲旁的處理不同。字形結構會影響部件RB 的效果，顯示部件在整字中的相對位置會影響對整字的處理。

In this second-year project, we aimed at examining the role of component and structure in Chinese character recognition by using the paradigm of repetition blindness (RB). Results showed that regardless of the frequency of characters, robust RB for components was consistently found in all experiments, confirming the findings in the previous year. However, the RB effects for semantic and phonetic components were different across different conditions and at different time courses, indicating separate representations for semantic and phonetic components. Component RB is constrained by character structure, indicating the importance of structure in recognizing Chinese characters.
