The porosity of the bone graft is 70 vol%; the size of pores is around 130??m. The pores are interconnected through opening of around 40??m. The interactions between preosteoblast cells and the bone graft are then investigated. Although the pores are interconnected, most the cells are attached to the surface of bone graft. Only a few cells migrate into the cross-section within a time span of 28?days. Such observation provides key information on pore structure design of bone graft. ? 2020 The American Ceramic Society |
