dc.description.abstract | Weight functions are provided for calculating the stress intensity factors for collinear cracks in an infinite anisotropic elastic plate. The number of cracks as well as the length of the cracks are arbitrary. The weight functions are for crack-face loading, which may be non-self-equilibrium. It is shown that for self-equilibrium loading, the weight functions are independent of elastic constants. For non-self-equilibrium loading, however, an additional constant term that is material-dependent appears. | en_US |
