Abstract
The project is mainly to develop a novel all-organic electrochromic device. Electrodeposition of PMeT in a strong Lewis acid (BFEE) can yield good quality, homogeneous, and electroactive PMeT films. On the basis of the study on PMeT, we can take it as a good material for electrochromic device. Also, PEDOT is a very good electrochromic material Combine the two thiophene derivatives above we have seen the application potential of this device. In this study, the PMeT-PEDOT ECD was been optimized by the charge capacity ratio of the two conducting polymers. The coloration efficiencies of each electrode and the ECD were also completely reported. Currently, the device PMeT-PEDOT has a high coloration efficiency of 312 cm 2 /C and a maximum ∆T% at 655 nm of 43%.
