本研究完成後，我們將確認核苷酸醣轉運蛋白SLC35A2在腫瘤組織的表現對神經母細胞瘤病人預後的重要性，了解SLC35A2的表現在神經母細胞瘤中對腫瘤惡性行為及細胞自噬的影響，以及其中的分子機制。藉由這樣的了解，希望未來可以進一步針對這個預後不好的腫瘤設計出新的治療策略或藥物，增進治療的成績、改善病人的預後。
