Description
老年性聽損是重要的臨床及公共衛生問題，其發生受到基因、環境和醫療因子之間複雜相互作用影響。過去研究已證實多個易感基因、環境因子和醫療因子與老年性聽損的關聯，但由於既有的研究多係個別獨立，無法釐清這些因子之共病作用，故需更加全面的整合研究平台。本計畫目的為利用先前吾人團隊建立之肥胖與老年性聽損交互作用臨床與實驗研究平台，結合具有台灣族群大量且完整基因型與表型資料的台灣精準醫學合作計畫，進行全基因體關聯研究，尋找老年性聽損與肥胖共病作用之致病機轉與潛在治療標的。
