嚴重病毒感染常伴隨強烈的細胞激素風暴,其所引起的急性呼吸道窘迫與器官損傷,嚴重時可能導致宿主死亡。我們希望利用小鼠嚴重病毒性肺炎模型,來深入探討Siglec成對受體對宿主免疫反應的影響,以期對宿主免疫受體在感染期間的複雜的交互作用能有進一步的了解。
