標題: | 全球變遷 - 福山森林生態系長期生態研究─白蟻在福山森林生態系中的時空分佈及功能研究(2/2) | 作者: | 吳文哲 | 關鍵字: | 白蟻;森林生態系;福山植物園;生物量;呼吸率;Termites;Forest Ecosystem;Fushan Botanic Garden;Biomass;Respiratory rate | 公開日期: | 2001 | 出版社: | 臺北市:國立臺灣大學昆蟲學系暨研究所 | 摘要: | 本研究探討不同的溫度、溼度、 族群生物量、巢材處理等因子,對於 黃肢散白蟻 (Reticulitermes flaviceps Oshima)及黑翅土白蟻 (Odontotermes formosanus Shiraki)呼吸速率的影響。 試驗結果顯示兩種白蟻的呼吸速率會 隨溫度升高而提高,黑翅土白蟻的呼 吸速率在各溫度下皆高於黃肢散白 蟻;此外,在低溫時黑翅土白蟻會有 群體效應產生,而黃肢散白蟻並沒有 發現此種情形。而在不同的溼度環境 下,此兩種白蟻皆會受到低溼度的影 響而使呼吸速率降低,其中黑翅土白 蟻對於溼度變化的反應較黃肢散白蟻 強烈。而在巢材的影響上,完整的巢 材對於兩種白蟻皆有提高呼吸速率的 作用,但隔離巢材及消毒巢材對兩種 白蟻的影響則完全不同。另外,黃肢 散及小象白蟻(Nasutitermes parvonasutus) 對鵝掌柴(Schefflera octophylla (Lour) Harms) 之分解速率明顯 高於綠樟(Meliosma squamulata Hance) 、鋸葉長尾拷(Castanopsis carlesii var. sessilis Nakai)與長葉木 薑子(Litsea acuinata (Blume) Kurata)。黃肢散白蟻於100 %高含 水量之木材有較佳的分解速率。 Effects of temperature, humidity, population biomass, and nest materials on the respiratory rate of termites Reticulitermes flaviceps Oshima and Odontotermes formosanus Shiraki were studied. The respiratory rate of O. formosanus was significantly higher than that of R. flaviceps under four constant temperatures. In low temperature, O. formosanus with a larger population biomass consumed more oxygen than the same species with a small population biomass, indicating that group effects may involve in the process of respiration. In low humidity, respiratory rate of O. formosanus would have a more significant decrease than that of R. flaviceps. When termites incubated with their intact nest materials in an incubation vessel, the respiratory rates of these two species were rising significantly. However, screened or sterilized nest materials had distinct effects on the respiratory rates of these termites. In addition, R. flavipes and Nasutitermes parvonasutus consumed significantly much mass of Schefflera octophylla (Lour) Harms than that of other three woods, Meliosma squamulata Hance, Castanopsis carlesii var. sessilis Nakai, and Litsea acuminata (Blume) Kurata. Reticulitermes flaviceps consumed significantly much mass of wood under 100% RH. |
