Since the setup of the Department of Primary Care Medicine in 2000, multidiscipline scientific research has always been the unique feature of this department. There have been more than 200 publications contributing to the basic research, the improvement of clinical diagnosis or treatment, the development of stem cells or biomedical technology, and the program of accelerated medical education in Taiwan.
