We wish to use our outstanding heritage to educate elite students and staff to conduct advanced research and provide high quality treatments. We also wish to raise the standards of dental education, research, and treatment quality to serve the general public and eventually become the largest university affiliated dental department in Asia. Aims
Incorporate science, life sciences, and technical science into dental courses to educate future dentists with solid biological knowledge and precise manual skills.
Collaborate with various specialist training centers set up by the Graduate Institute of Clinical Dentistry to provide high quality, specialized treatments.
Enhance and upgrade the education of basic medical science and clinical dentistry.
Establish a national oral disease prevention and education center along with our Yun-lin campus in a national investigation of dental public health epidemiology and geriatric dental problems, providing the government with strategies regarding oral preventive care for the general public.
Collaborate with Hsinchu Biomedical Science Park in developing oral biomedical technologies, combining the efforts of research staff and dentists in producing improved biomaterials for dental use. Furthermore, conduct thorough research in oral hard tissue and oral cancer molecular biology and genetics for early diagnosis and treatment, as well as enhancing our country’s dental material industry.
Establish a dental clinical educational training center to provide continuing education courses for dentists as well as different types of dental staff and assistants
