2016-08-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/644962摘要:超音波乳房影像雖已成為婦女乳癌篩檢的主要輔助工具,但由於超音波掃瞄缺乏自動化技術,實施上仍須受過專業訓練的醫師或是技術員進行掃瞄,在醫療人力與資源有限的情形下,對於全面推廣實施婦女定期乳房篩檢造成諸多限制。此外,臨床影像判讀亦需要透過醫師的專業訓練來進行,因此對於大規模篩檢(screening)而言,亦有其局限性。近年來歐美地區雖已有超音波乳房影像自動掃瞄系統於臨床使用,但仍有諸多缺點,無法根本解決上述問題。有鑒於此,本計畫提出使用一個新的超音波三維自動乳房影像與分析技術,來解決上述問題。本計畫在系統面,將使用三維攝影機及六軸機械手臂做人體表面三維攝影以及自動快速順形掃瞄。結合後端之電腦自動重組、分析與偵測,達到全自動三維乳癌篩檢之目標,可望提升女性乳癌篩檢品質以及藉由快速檢查達到降低社會整體醫療支出之目標。本計畫預計將執行三年,具體工作事項如下: - 6 軸機械手臂之控制與座標定位技術 - 使用二台 3D 攝影機之全視野人體 3D 表面重建及與機械手臂之整合 - 系統整合與機構設計 - 順形人體自動掃瞄路徑計算與使用者介面設計 - 自動掃瞄與探頭壓力感測器整合 - 3D volume data 幾何修正與資料重組 - 電腦輔助分析與偵測 - 人體資料擷取與效能評估分析 本計畫之目標,為透過技術開發,達到高品質、快速超音波乳癌篩檢的普及化。透過本計畫之執行,除培育人才與深耕技術之外,亦將有助於健康照護品質之提升,並有機會創造國內醫療科技產業化之具體成效。<br> Abstract: Ultrasound has become an important supporting tool for breast cancer screening for women. Nonetheless, due to the lack of automatic technologies, the implementation still relies on trained professionals such as doctors and sonographers to perform the scanning. This limits the population who can benefit from such screening. In addition, the reading of ultraosund images also relies on highly trained professionals. Although in recent years there have been applications of automatic breast ultrasound screening technologies in clinical environments, these systems still suffer from several major drawbacks and do not fundamentally address the issues that were mentioned above. It is therefore the main goal of this project to propose and develop new technologies to overcome these difficulties. On the system side, it is proposed to integrate 3D cameras and a 6-axis robotic arm for automatic and rapid 3D conformal scanning. In combination with computerized reconstruction, analysis and detection, effective automatic breast screening can be achieved. By doing so, it is expected that the quality of breast screening can be improved and the overall healthcare cost for managemet of such diseases from the entire society can be reduced. To this end, in this three-year project, we propose to undertake the following tasks: - Control and positioning of 6-axis robotic arm - 3D surface reconstruction using two 3D cameras - System integration and mechanical design - Design of conformal scanning and user interface - Applications of pressure sensors for effective contact during scanning - 3D volume data reconstration with geometric correction - Computer aided analysis and detection - Performane evaluation on human data The goal of this project is to achieve high quality and rapid ultrasound breast screening through development of advanced technologies. The successful execution of this project will not only provide training to the participants, it will also help to improve quality of life and reduce healthcare cost.
