2018-08-012024-05-18https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/712672摘要:動脈粥樣硬化是鸚鵡極常見的心血管疾病。儘管鸚鵡動脈粥樣硬化的發生率很高 ,至今仍難以在鳥類生前診斷出來;又因為患鳥常缺乏明顯臨床症狀,往往在死後 屍解才被發現。因此目前獸醫師們極欲了解如何早期診斷該疾病。在人類醫學,電 腦斷層血管攝影已被廣泛應用於動脈粥樣硬化的診斷,因此被認為是診斷鳥類心血 管疾病最具有發展性的診斷工具之一,也越來越多研究朝此方向發展。在本實驗室 先前的研究已得知,在非洲灰鸚鵡執行電腦斷層血管攝影是可行的,並且在顯影後 及體視窗的條件下有較佳的觀察者間判讀一致性;以及在注射顯影劑之後給予生理 食鹽水灌洗能有較低的顯影劑分布異質性,進而獲得較高的影像品質。在人類醫學 ,調整顯影劑的條件能有效的改善影像品質,其中包含顯影劑注射速率以及注射總 量之調整。本次研究中,我們將使用10隻非洲灰鸚鵡(Psittacus erithacus)做為 實驗對象。第一年運用不同顯影劑注射速率來比較顯影之成像品質,第二年延續前 年之結果,在定速的情況下以不同注射劑量之條件下來比較獲得的影像品質。本計 畫預期可藉由影像品質及時間-顯影曲線來探討在非洲灰鸚進行血管攝影最適合的 注射速度及注射總量,以增進電腦斷層血管攝影於鸚鵡動脈硬化診斷的潛力及實用性。<br> Abstract: Atherosclerosis is a very common cardiovascular disease in parrots. Although the incidence of atherosclerosis in parrots is high, due to the lack of obvious clinical signs and diagnostic equipment, to date, antemortem diagnosis still considered challenging in veterinary medicine. In human medicine, computed tomography angiography (CTA) has been widely used in the diagnosis of atherosclerosis; therefore, CTA is also considered as one of the most developed diagnostic tools. Previous studies of our laboratory have shown that it is feasible to perform computed tomography angiography on African gray parrots and it has a higher inter-observer consistency in measurements with post-contrast condition at the body window; also, we’ve known that with a contrast infusion followed by saline flush can reduce contrast distribution heterogeneity and result in higher image quality. In human medicine, adjusting the infusion conditions of the contrast material, including the contrast infusion rate and the total dosage, can effectively improve the image quality. In this study, 10 African grey parrots (Psittacus erithacus) will be included as experimental animals. In the first year, by adjusting the contrast infusion rate we will be able to compare its’ effect on image quality. Based on the result of the first year, with a fixed optimal infusion rate, the effect of different dosages of contrast material on computed tomographic angiography of African grey parrots will be studied.
