According to the constructed theoretical model, an instrument related to EHIL evaluation was developed. The construct validity and reliability of the EHIL scale wereexamined and validated. Then, the EHIL scale was employed to investigate medical-health related students` and experts` EHIL competency. In the meanwhile, the relationships among EHIL competency and health information searching behavior were analyzed.
