劉康克2006-08-232018-06-282006-08-232018-06-282001http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw//handle/246246/29323本計畫包含二部份:觀測與模式分 析。觀測工作包括:東海沈積物中有機碳、 氮之分布及同位素組成,東海水體中無機 碳(DIC)及氟氧化碳(CFC)之測定。其 目的在運用同位素探討東海陸棚之有機 碳、氮傳輸與生地化過程,並藉著二氧化 碳分壓之測定,以推算二氧化碳之海氣交 換通量,而CFC 可以做為不同水團之示蹤 劑。模式分析從東海盒子模式開始著手, 再逐步發展三維之生地化數值模式。 有機碳、氮傳輸與生地化過程方 面,本計畫運用碳、氮在海域之位素組成 分布,追蹤有機碳、氮物質在東海中之傳 輸。我們發現南沖繩海槽的沈積物中碳、 氮同位素組成與內陸棚的十分相似,顯示 內陸棚的有機物可能是沖繩海槽沈積物中 的有機碳的主要來源。此外,對東海水體 之CFC 及PCO2 做了初步的探測。 模式研究方面,研究範圍將從黃海 到東海,直到台灣海峽,使用雙盒子模式, 以做水平之區隔。數據方面,利用已出版 之文獻,如:東海水文圖集,及NODC 之 光碟資料。我們求出東海陸棚南部與北部 之水體駐留期有大的區別,南部僅3-4 個 月,北部則有1.4 年。This project includes two parts, observations and modeling. Observations include isotopic analysis of sedimentary organic carbon and nitrogen and survey of carbonate chemistry and chloropfluorocarbon (CFC). The spatial distribution of sedimentary organic carbon and isotopic compositions sheds light on the fate of organic matter in the East China Sea. The carbonate chemistry enables us to study the air-sea exchange of carbon dioxide. CFCs may serve as water mass tracers. Box model are used to study the water and nutrient budget in the East China Sea shelf as the first step of modeling work, which is to be followed by development of 3-D numerical model. Regarding the biogeochemical dynamics of carbon and nitrogen in the East China Sea, we have studied their isotopic compositions in sediments. The results clearly indicate that the sedimentary organic matter in the southern Okinawa Trough off northeastern Taiwan is isotopically similar to that from the inner shelf of the ECS, suggesting the inner shelf as the main source of sedimentary organic matter in the southern 3 Okinawa Trough. Preliminary results have been obtained for the PCO2 and CFC distribution in the East China Sea. The study area for the modeling effort comprises the contiguous continental shelf from the Yellow Sea to the Taiwan Strait. Efforts has been devoted to compile a database with wider spatial coverage and fuller temporal coverage for the model studies. Two-box model has been constructed to evaluate the residence times of shelf waters in the southern and northern parts of the ECS shelf.
