Laparoscopic resection of an ovarian strumal carcinoid tumor with dramatic relief of severe constipation

A woman with acquired constipation was suspected to have a right ovarian strumal carcinoid tumor preoperatively. The severe constipation was relieved dramatically after successful laparoscopic resection of the tumor.
