2004-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/677638摘要：作為知識經濟的一部份，每一個地區的金融服務業的活動中，對於資訊的流動以及所帶來的蒐集、判讀與詮釋的議題，始終是這個產業在特定地區得以發展與否的關鍵。換言之，能否將在全球性流動的資訊加以領域化，並且賦予意義，往往是金融廠商在服務客戶時競爭優勢的重要來源。這尤其表現在高度不穩定與高度風險的資本市場中，又以原本用來避險卻帶來更大風險投機的期貨市場更為突出。而其中，由期貨商、投資顧問經紀商，以及其雇用的經理人員及操作員所構成的專業社群，無疑的成為擷取資訊加以理解，並進而擴散的主要渠道。這種社群往往存在於不同地理尺度，並加以連結。本研究針對這些社群的組成、社會活動以及支持的論述建構等面向加以考察，藉以指出台灣金融服務業的資訊─社群互動特性，以及其優勢與限制。同時也進而看到台灣金融中心與國際金融產業的接軌與分化的關係。<br> Abstract: This research aims to tackle the issue of uncertainty in the development of financial service industry (FSI) in Taiwan. Being a leading sector of the knowledge-based economy, the FSI is basically an industry full of information codes. Holding down the information flow to the local market has become imperative for the firms to win in the FSI. Firms have to collect information, and more critically, to decode it, interpret it and then make the decision for their clients to enter or withdraw from the market. To do so, the firms rely overwhelmingly on a group of professionals to deal with the uncertainty embodied in the information flow. It is the community of knowledgeable individuals that constitutes the core of the financial center, and articulates global information flow with local knowledge base. The activities of the community often extend beyond the boundary of individual firms, and more than likely involve informal social gathering. In addition, a shared repertoire that draws on stories, artifacts and discourses constitutes another key dimension of the community. Through the mutual engagement among the members of the community, the information flow is re-ordered and endowed with meaningful interpretation, and thus risk in investment is lowered.
