2015-01-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/643598摘要:轉譯醫學是後基因體時代的顯學,轉譯醫學之發展奠基於基因體研究成果與生物資訊的快速發展,使疾病可以從全功能體層面來探討其致病機制,並且可運用基因體醫學方法來研擬診斷與治療對策。結合基礎醫學研究、疾病標記與藥物研發及臨床診斷、治療三大領域,以跨領域方式可以加速疾病標記與新藥研發,縮短基礎研究成果、理論實際應用到臨床治療所需的時程,加快生技產業之推動。本「實驗動物模式暨轉譯醫學之研究」推動計畫主要規劃︰(一)進行重要疾病基因體、蛋白質體學及代謝體研究;(二)開發疾病分子標靶以提供新藥研發基礎;(三)開發疾病診斷、治療之新方法;(四)建立疾病動物模式,提供疾病標記與新藥研發模型。期望本推動計畫,能促進基礎與臨床的雙向互動之醫學研究來探討重要疾病之不同層面的問題,整合國內研究資源並培植優秀之轉譯醫學研究團隊。本計畫的推動希望結合國內優秀的生命科學、資訊科學以及臨床醫學人才共同努力,提升我國臨床治療之發展及協助生技產業之推動,並達成個人化醫療的目的。<br> Abstract: Translational medicine is an important topic in the post-genomic era. The development oftranslational medicine is based on the research of genomics and the rapid expansion ofbioinformatics. Diseases can be comprehensively analyzed for their pathogenic mechanism fromthe aspects of functional proteomics; furthermore, diagnostic and therapeutic strategy can beachieved by using genomic medicine. With the combination of basic medical research, diseasemarkers and drug development, clinical diagnosis and treatment, an interdisciplinary approach canbe used to accelerate drug development for diseases, shorten the required duration from basicresearch, practical application of theory to clinical treatment, thereby facilitating the promotion ofbiotechnology industry. The aims of this Promotion Project of Animal Disease Models andTranslational Medicine include: (a) to carry out genomics, proteomics and metabolomics researchof important diseases, (b) to develop molecular targets of diseases for new drug development, (c) todevelop new methods of disease diagnosis and therapeutic modalities, (d) to develop new animaldisease models for the screening of drug and the validation of drug target. Through this PromotionProject, we expect to enhance good interaction between basic and clinical medical research toexplore different aspects of problems in important diseases, integrate research resources and fosterexcellent research teams of translational medicine.
