2011-04-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/678894摘要:「經濟學」作為基礎社會科學教育,為本校重要課程。經濟學系歷年來平均一學期提供全校基礎經濟學課程約20餘門,其中包括「經濟學原理與實習」、「經濟學」(95學年度以前之課程名稱為「經濟學甲」、「經濟學乙」等等,自96學年度以後統稱為「經濟學」)、「個體經濟學」、「總體經濟學」、「國際經濟學導論」等。 本系經濟學課程皆需備有一人以上之教學助教(負責講授實習課程)以及一~四人之教學助理(負責協助課程其他工作)。以「經濟學原理與實習」為例,每一班「經濟學原理與實習」皆需設置一位教學助教,以及二~四位教學助理。教學助教的工作在於每週為學生講授約2小時之實習課程,教學助理的工作則是協助授課老師以及教學助教批改大量的學生作業、小考考卷、期中期末考試卷等。 98學年度第2學期,全校計有2591人次選修本系所開設之基礎經濟學課程,其中有80.24%的學生非經濟系學生;99學年度第1學期,全校則為2565人次選修本系所開設之基礎經濟學課程,其中有80.47%的學生非經濟系學生。故經濟系每學期平均需要服務外系選修基礎經濟學之學生約佔80.3%,超過2000人次。 為滿足全校同學選修經濟學之需求,近年來每年開設之經濟學課程日益增加(例如「經濟學原理與實習」於95學年度只開設3班,於96學年度則加設至6班,平均每班修課人數為145人)。惟本系經費有限,在開設大量經濟學課程的同時,並無法提供授課老師足夠的教學助理以及其他教學資源,以致教學品質有降低之虞,故本計畫希望能透過申請足夠的教學助理助教之資源,以提升經濟學課程之教學品質,並提供全校同學更好的上課環境。 <br> Abstract: Economics is an important subject as a fundamental education for social sciences in NTU. There are around 20 courses from the department of Economics in every semester which are incluing Principle of Economics (with Recitation), Economics, Microeconomics, Macroeconomics and International Economics Principle. All of the economics courses in our department need at least one lead teaching assistant and one to four teaching assistant as the grader. For example, the course “Principle of Economics (with Recitation)” needs one lead teaching assistant and two to four graders. TA’s job is helping Professors to give 2 hours recitation time for students every week; while graders’ job are as the TAs’ assistants to help grade students’ homework and exams. In the NTU semester 98-2, there are 2,591 students select the fundamental economics courses which are supplied by the department of Economics. In the 2,591 students, there are 80.24% students from non-department of Economics; In the semester 99-1, there are 2,565 students select the fundamental economics courses which are supplied by the department of Economics. In the 2,565 students, there are 80.74% students from non-department of Economics. Therefore we may say the department of Economics serves over 2,000 students for attending Economics courses in every semester and 80.3% of those students are not majored in Economics. For the huge demand of Economics courses, the department of Economics supplies more and more fundamental Economics courses during these years. We therefore need more teaching resources to make sure we keep the teaching qualities.
