Furthermore, the impacts of external environment factors on hospital efficiency are investigated through regression analyses. Among the 118 hospital in the sample, 15 of them are efficient, in which three are medical centers, three are regional hospitals, and nine are district teaching hospitals. There exist differences in efficiency among different accreditation levels.
