Although the gap is expanding continuously and farmers still are excluded from social security scheme in Taiwan. The international study attempts to figure out how to construct applicable social security protection for farmers by comparing with different social insurance scheme among European Union (EU) countries. The comparative analysis will focus on not only homogeneity and heterogeneity, but also strength and weakness among social insurance programs in EU.
