In addition, three unexpected artificial 19-oxygenated steroids (7-9) were obtained by letting 10 and 11 stand in CDCl3 for prolonged periods of time. The structures of 1-9 were elucidated by extensive spectroscopic analyses, and their cytotoxicity against selected cancer cells was measured in vitro. ? 2007 American Chemical Society and American Society of Pharmacognosy.application/pdf228679 bytesapplication/pdfen-US[SDGs]SDG3[SDGs]SDG14acetone; kelsoene; methanol; sesquiterpene; sesquiterpenoid; steroid; unclassified drug; article; cancer cell; controlled study; coral; cytotoxicity; drug isolation; human; human cell; in vitro study; nuclear magnetic resonance; spectroscopy; Animals; Anthozoa; Antineoplastic Agents; Drug Screening Assays, Antitumor; Molecular Structure; Sesquiterpenes; Steroids; Taiwan; Alcyonacea; NephtheaSesquiterpenoids and Artificial 19-Oxygenated Steroids from the Formosan Soft Coral Nephthea erectajournal article10.1021/np070189t2-s2.0-35348915936WOS:000249871200011http://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/174455/1/71.pdf
