Their structures were elucidated on the basis of extensive spectroscopic analysis. Cytotoxicity of compounds 1-11 was evaluated. The nitric oxide (NO) inhibitory activity of selected compounds was further measured by assay of lipopolysaccharide (LPS)-stimulated NO production in activated RAW264.7 cells. The results showed that none of 1-11 exhibited cytotoxicity against the tested cancer cell lines, whereas compound 8 was found to significantly reduce NO production. ? 2016 by the authors; licensee MDPI.Cubitane; Nanoculones A and B; Nanolobols A-C; Sinularia[SDGs]SDG3calyculone I; cembranoid; cubitanoid derivative; diterpenoid; lipopolysaccharide; nanoculone A; nanoculone B; nanolobol A; nanolobol B; nanolobol C; nitric oxide; sinulariol C; sinulariol D; sinulariol H; sinulariol J; sinulariuol A; unclassified drug; antineoplastic agent; diterpene; nitric oxide; animal cell; Article; cancer cell line; carbon nuclear magnetic resonance; colon adenocarcinoma; controlled study; coral; drug cytotoxicity; drug isolation; drug structure; human; human cell; leukemia; mass spectrometry; nonhuman; proton nuclear magnetic resonance; Sinularia nanolobata; structure analysis; Taiwan; animal; Anthozoa; chemical structure; chemistry; drug screening; HT-29 cell line; isolation and purification; K-562 cell line; metabolism; mouse; RAW 264.7 cell line; Animals; Anthozoa; Antineoplastic Agents; Diterpenes; Drug Screening Assays, Antitumor; HT29 Cells; Humans; K562 Cells; Lipopolysaccharides; Mice; Molecular Structure; Nitric Oxide; RAW 264.7 CellsCubitanoids and cembranoids from the soft coral Sinularia nanolobatajournal article10.3390/md140801502-s2.0-84984924449WOS:000383284700002
