2007-08-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/692903摘要:本計劃為配合台灣地震中心的研究規劃,進行台灣周邊近岸海域高 解析海床測勘,尤其著重於陸上以活斷層為主的活動構造向海域的延伸 為主題,以清楚掌握這些活動構造的延伸範圍及活動型態。本計劃規劃 分三年在台灣近岸海域進行高解析的多音束測深,側掃聲納及高頻反射 震測調查工作,選擇的地區將配合陸地區域的研究重點實施。本計劃為 配合現今進行的四年台灣西南地區古地震計畫;去年調查之構造為恆春 斷層,本年區域向北至高雄屏東外海,研究旗山斷層為主的構造延伸入 海之狀況。高屏地區的構造活動在921 地震發生後,漸受重視,當地泥 火山也是沿著斷層線發展;其中旗山斷層為本區最重要的新構造線。本 計劃將探討此斷層向西入海後在海床上的形貌,初步資料指出其在外海 表現出明顯的左移地形錯位現象。因此在海域上所進行更詳細的構造地 物調查,會比陸上調查表現出大量的優勢條件。本計劃所使用的多音束 測深調查,會是現今ㄧ種對新活動構造偵測的最有效工具。<br> Abstract: This Project belongs to one of the sub-projects of the Taiwan Earthquakes Center, to conduct a high resolution seabed geophysical survey around Taiwan offshore areas. Its main purpose is to outline seaward extension of the active faults that have been shown on land, and then to capture its tectonic behavior and its occupation in offshore territory. The survey period plans for 3 years, in which the selected offshore areas will be surveyed using the multi-beam echo sounder, side-scan sonar, and 3.5kHz Subbottom profiler. This project’s result intended to incorporate with the progress of 4-year project of the paleo-earthquake study of southwest Taiwan. In last year, the primary target was to understand tectonic behavior of the HengChun Fault by looking into its appearing on the seabed to the south; in this year, the Chi-San Fault situated in the Kao-Hsiung area is planed to investigate. This is because there are many active mud volcanoes located along the imprint of the trace of the Chi-San Fault on land, and it is the most important neo-structure located in the Kao-Hsiung metropolis. The preliminary bathymetrical data has shown a left lateral displacement of seabed is indicated, and it is located at the place where the Chi-San Fault is extended westwards. By using marine geophysical exploration, it has been much efficient and convenient to investigate a tectonic structure than that was surveyed on land.
