2023-01-192024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/653026水深資料是掌握海底地形的關鍵,也是海洋環境探測重要工作之一,而臺灣周邊海域水下環境複雜,為能確實掌握戰場環境,海軍有必要針對此特殊海域之地形、水文及底質等特性進行調查研究,以利海軍之海洋戰場環境經營。臺灣海峽是國際重要的航道,其中臺灣灘海域地形複雜,近年來也成為中國大陸抽砂船侵入盜採海砂的熱區,且相較於中國大陸已進行多次調查,臺灣所掌握的資料相對有限。本年度計畫為「臺灣灘周邊海域海洋環境整合研究與調查」三年期計畫所執行之第二年,除了將收集臺灣灘過去既有的地形及底質剖面資料,也將彙整去年度新收集之水深資料,並以此規劃海上作業航次,預計將利用國家新研究船隊所新建置且高精確的多音束測深儀,依照國內相關規範測繪臺灣灘海域。除了水深地形資料外,也將利用多音束聲納所取得的海床背散射訊號,嘗試發展及應用海床底質分析技術,取得臺灣灘海域的地形參數及底質特性,以此協助海軍有效掌握臺灣灘環境特性及精進模式預報成果,相關調查與分析成果皆會提供給海軍運用,以滿足我國掌握海域情資之需求。 Bathymetry data is the key to understanding seabed topography and one of the important tasks of marine environment investigation. However, the underwater environment of Taiwan Bank is complicated. To better understand the battlefield conditions of Taiwan Bank, Republic of China Navy (ROCN) should better investigate and study morphological, hydrological, and sub-bottom characteristics in this area. Compared to mainland China, which has investigated Taiwan Bank for several years, Taiwan has relatively limited data on Taiwan Bank area. Moreover, sand pump dredgers from mainland China have often entered Taiwan Bank for sand resources recently. This is the second-year project of the three-year project entitled “Seafloor Morphology Investigation and Study”, which is a sub-project of the leading project “Observations of Ocean Current around the Taiwan Bank”. It aims (1) to collect and integrate historic bathymetry and sub-bottom profile data in the Taiwan Bank; (2) to investigate Taiwan Bank area by using advanced multi-beam echo sounder (MBES) systems of Taiwan’s New Ocean Research Vessel; (3) to develop and apply a sub-bottom characteristics analysis technique based on MBES seabed backscatter data. All observation results in this project will provide to ROCN for naval operations. Our results not only provide morphological parameters and seabed characteristics of Taiwan Bank but also can help ROCN to gather environmental intelligence of Taiwan Bank better.
