2016-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/682310摘要:犬絲蟲症是目前世界感染犬隻最嚴重的寄生蟲,藉由吸血節肢動物在宿主間傳播;目前已知有超過六種絲狀蟲會感染犬,雖然僅有心絲蟲會對犬造成致命的影響,但因為大多數絲狀蟲(含心絲蟲)都是人畜共通的的疾病,所以絲狀蟲的防治也是一項重要的公衛議題。臺灣長久以來對犬絲狀蟲感染的調查都是區域性的,且大都僅針對心絲蟲,沒有其它絲狀蟲感染的調查資料。因此,本研究擬以分子檢測的方式,篩檢犬隻血液,調查臺灣本島犬隻感染絲狀蟲的情形;首先擬設計並研發複合式PCR技術,可以在一次試驗中同時檢測數種絲狀蟲的感染;其次則由台灣本島各地的動物醫院及動物收容所,收集至少700隻犬的血液,以上述建立的分子檢測技術進行篩檢,以評估台灣犬隻絲狀蟲的感染率,以及不同絲狀蟲的感染情形。<br> Abstract: Canine filariasis is most common parasitic infestation in the world. These are spread among hosts by blood-feeding arthropods. So far, there are over 6 different filaria can infest dogs. Among them, heartworm (Dirofilaria immitis) is the only fatal filaria in dog. However, most of them are zoonotic diseases. Prevention of filariasis is still an important issue in public health. In Taiwan, the epidemiological investigation of canine filariasis was regional and merely focused on heartworm. There were no information about other canine filariasis. Therefore, this study will use molecular technique to investigate the infestation of canine filaria in Taiwan. First all, we will develop a multiplex PCR to detect multiple canine filariasis in one simple PCR. Second, over 700 blood samples will be collected from the dogs of animal hospital or shelter.
