2016-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/680422摘要:臺灣大學發育生物學與再生醫學研究中心由2010年8月開始運作,為國內目前惟一以發育生物學為名之研究單位。本中心運作年餘,已與國內外發育再生相關學術單位,進行交流合作。本中心已進行之學術活動(請見中心網頁http://homepage.ntu.edu.tw/~ntucdbrm622/index1.htmFacebookhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/378594985566342/)。 在本校合聘鍾正明院士與本校同仁腦力激盪之後,已決定以功能性形態形成(functional morphogenesis)為本中心教學與研究之主軸。藉由成立「台灣大學發育生物學與再生科學研究中心」,我們希望結合台灣大學各領域包括生科院、生農學院、醫學工程研究所、醫學院及台大醫院等的專業知識與人才,整合相關研究與相關學程,形成一個教學與研究的團隊,互相合作, 互通有無。利用群體及整合的力量,開拓新知,向外爭取經費,以促進並整合本校幹細胞醫學、組織工程學、發育生物學與再生醫學的研究與發展, 以及人才的培育與訓練, 期待能與世界接軌,並追求卓越。運作5年餘,邀請之發育再生領域學者來台研討之所得成果非凡,促使本中心各研究群的組成,且也發表了數篇卓越的論文,並由於鍾正明院士的帶領,本中心的名字已刊登於29 April 2011,VOL 322 SCIENCE,為本校增光 (見中心網頁) 。2011年-2015年以中心名字發表的paper也共有163篇之多,並舉行了20次國際研討會,且都為主辦單位之一,年度當中邀請國內外學者演講共100多場,至目前為止電子報期刊也出刊了56期,成果有目共睹。2016年未來發育再生中心執行目標:a.功能性形態形成(functional morphogenesis)為本中心教學與研究之主軸,最終目標為可供臨床應用之轉譯再生醫學。b.積極促進台灣大學各學院、研究所及附設醫院內與幹細胞醫學、組織工程學、發育生物學與再生醫學相關之研究工作,提供學校內近百位相關研究學者一個合作平台,並藉此積極爭取校外整合性計劃。c.本中心將與各大學與研究機構合作開設相關課程並透過遠距教學分享以全面提升台灣發育生物學與再生醫學之水準。d.每月至少舉辦一次研究主題報告,讓校內同仁能彼此了解,以增加合作機會。另外,每年與中央研究院及國內各大學合辦國際性研討會,希望能促進國際及校際的合作。e.各學院基礎科學研究成果可透過中心與臺大醫院之臨床需求相結合將來本中心應可以藉由這個平台,將臨床試驗與產業界接軌,以落實再生醫學之應用。 2013年由本中心提出發育實驗課程,希望能藉由本課程提供更多學生實際的操作步驟。並希望未來能進入學分課程。 <br> Abstract: The Research center for developmental biology and regenerative medicine which began to operate in 2010 August is the only academic institute devoted to developmental biology and regeneration. Facebook:https://www.facebook.com/groups/378594985566342/) After brain-storming among many of our colleagues and Professor Chuong Cheng-Ming, we propose to coin “functional morphogenesis” as the central theme of our center. Via the establishment of the “Research Center of Developmental Biology and Regeneration Medicine”, we hope that people from diverse disciplines in our university including those from the college of life science, college of bio-resources and agriculture, institute of bio-engineering, college of medicine, and the university hospital can work together in research, put together the related educational programs for our students, and to form a solid team both in education and research. Through our team work, we can generate new knowledge, to obtain more resources, to integrate the research in stem cell, tissue engineering, developmental biology and regeneration medicine and promote their further development, to train and educate our fellows, and try our best to catch up with the world leaders and further pursue excellence. In the past one and half years after our official operation, we have invited many world-renowned investigators and scientific leaders to give lectures. We have formed several research groups on several important research topics. We also have published many scientific articles. Our center is also listed as the affiliated institute in a Science paper contributed by Prof. Chuong Cheng-Ming. For all the details, please refer to our website. The major characteristics and functions of this center will be: a. functional morphogenesis will be the main theme for education and research of this center. The ultimate goals will be to translate the basic research into clinically applicable regeneration medical treatment. b. to actively promote the collaboration among related investigators, set up a mechanism for healthy and productive interactions, finally to solicit more research resources outside our university. c. the center will seek cooperation with the other universities and academic institutes to set up related courses and share these educational resources with others outside our university through telecommunication, to promote the overall levels in this area in Taiwan. d. we will hold monthly and quarterly meetings to catalyze the interactions among our colleagues and with other domestic and foreign researchers.
