2023-01-012024-05-13https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/654753民國112年開始,我國法定成年年齡從20歲下降為18歲,不僅提早賦予完全的行為能力,也象徵社會期待一位高中畢業生即應具備參與社會的準備。一個人政治社會化的成熟過程中,除了家庭、同儕與媒體,學校教育肩負重大的責任,而與政治生活最息息相關的社會領域課程,究竟如何幫助青少年關懷社會、思辨議題、參與公共事務,是本計畫試圖探究的核心主題。 本計畫以高中教師、學生為研究對象,採質性為主、量化為輔的混合研究以了解高中社會領域課程設計對青少年社會參與的影響。第一期程著重在教師端,訪談歷史、地理、公民與社會科教師,瞭解課程主題與設計是否能幫助青少年熟悉、思考或感知社會現況與問題,甚至付諸實踐;第二期程實施問卷調查1200位高三學生,廣泛蒐集青少年常見的公共參與形式,本研究運用學者Zukin等人的四項公共參與分類,以瞭解高中生的參與文化。 透過問卷資料,本計畫再從1200位高中生篩選出公共參與經驗最多的60名學生進行深度訪談,進一步瞭解其起心動念、自我效能感、學校教育對其影響等。第三期程對於1200份問卷與師生合計90位受訪者進行資料分析,尋找哪些類型的課程對於公共參與行為有正向之影響,以幫助教師教學設計,並且反思高中生是否對於通往成年之路已有相當之準備。 In 2023, the age of majority in Taiwan will be lowered to eighteen, which not only empowers the youth with full legal capacity, but also signifies that a senior high school leaver should be prepared for full participation in society. In the process of political socialisation, aside from family, peers and media, school education plays a significant role. Among subjects, social studies courses are the most relevant. How such courses facilitate teenagers’ care for society, approach critical thinking of issues, and treat participation in public affairs stands at the core of this research. During a three-year mixed-method-based piece of research, interviews and surveys will be conducted with senior high school teachers and students. In the first year, centring on the diversity of pedagogies implemented to encourage civic engagement, 30 teachers’ views on the curriculum design will be collected. Turning to youth perspectives, the second year will investigate 1200 students’ participation experiences via questionnaires. The most common youth participation behaviour will be quantitatively demonstrated from the survey and this sub-culture among students will be described. Through this large-scale poll, 60 students who declare the most active participation will be invited for one-on-one interviews. This more in-depth approach is expected to explore their motivation, self-efficacy and the potential influence of school courses on their behaviour. In the final stage, in year three, the systematic analysis of 1200 questionnaires and 90 interviews is scheduled to conclude this three-year research.
