2017-01-012024-05-17https://scholars.lib.ntu.edu.tw/handle/123456789/680920摘要:本子計畫為台大高能實驗組配合參與歐洲大強子對撞機CMS國際實驗團隊的硬體升級計畫(子計畫一)及參與超級B介子工廠BelleII實驗(子計畫三) 硬體更新的本地研發計畫,以期能將成果用於下一代之CEPC希格斯工廠上。內容主要分為兩部分,一是配合CMS及BelleII探測器升級,在台大建立起以新型量能器為主的研發測試平台。主要工作為高速光纖資料擷取、觸發系統、量能器原型製作及模擬設計。另一個則為利用既有能力,開發應用模組,如中子探測器系統等。希望能對質子加速器治療腫瘤中心的熱中子環境監測做出貢獻,並能設計產出高性價比產品,供本地生醫產業界使用。<br> Abstract: This sub-proposal is about the matching R&D work for the NTUHEP hardware involvement at the CERN CMS experiment (sub-proposal one) and SuperKEKB-factory BelleII experiment (sub-proposal three). The experiences gained will be very useful for the participation in the Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC)- Higgs factory. It consists of two major parts. The first one is related to the CMS HGCal upgrade and the BelleII endcap calorimeter upgrade. We need to establish a platform at NTU for the R&D and testing of the proposed calorimeters. The tasks include high-speed optical link for data acquisition, trigger system, calorimeter prototype and GEANT4 detector simulation. The 2nd part is to utilizing our expertise in building applicable modules, for instance, the neutron detector system, etc. This kind of work can be useful for the monitoring of the environmental thermal- neutron level induced in the proton therapy center.
