To achieve this goal, the Office of Research and Development (ORD) has made proactive efforts to promote academic research and development and has developed full-fledged plans to optimize the environment for research and industrial-academic cooperation. Research facilities and energy for industrial-academic cooperation have been reinforced, and university resources have been consolidated to facilitate collaborative research, manpower training for basic research, and across-the-board upgrades in every field for key breakthroughs.
