Long-term hillslope sites include a site intensively monitoring hydrological responses and some sites extensively observing sediment movements. Integrated information can be helpful to completely clarify the spatial and temporal patterns of hydrological responses in a forested headwater catchment. 1.Based on the establishment of long-term hillslope sites and the investigated information of hydrological responses, we will discuss the ecohydrological characteristics in a forested headwater catchment in Taiwan. 2.The findings in this project will be compared to the previous concepts and the previous results observed in the forested hillslopes or catchments in other countries. 3.We will analyze datasets and find out the first-order controls of topography, vegetation, and meteorology on hydrological responses. The achievements of this project will contribute to make an appropriate management policy or restoration strategy for forested headwater catchments.森林源頭集水區降雨逕流過程飽和帶地表含水率土壤沖蝕Forested headwater catchmentRain-runoff processSaturated zoneSurface soil moistureSoil erosion國有林集水區水文與崩塌關係之調查與分析
