Among 91 clones of different species, there are toxic and nontoxic strains of the same species. Ten microcystins have been isolated from field collection of blooming population of Microcystis aeruginosa and strain MTN-2 of the same species. Three of the toxins are known to be new in literature. Among 12 Alexandrium minutum isolates there were 9 found to be toxic, and their toxin profiles were different. One of the strain, AmTK6a was known as the most toxic one ever reported. It was also found toxic cells of A. minutum and the purified toxin showed toxicity to milkfish larvae by damaging fish gills and thus causing a high demand and consumption of oxygen in fish. From one Prorocentrum lima isolate, okadaic acid, its diol esters, and DTX-1 were isolated. One of the diol ester of OA was known as new compound. Spiroprorocentrimine, a new compound was isolated and crystalized from the extract of one unknown Prorocentrum species, in addition to prorocentrolide and hydroxyprorocentrolide.application/pdf53514 bytesapplication/pdfzh-TW國立臺灣大學漁業科學研究所原甲藻大環內酯微囊藻毒螺 接原甲藻大環內酯亞胺麻痺性貝毒利瑪原甲藻微小亞歷山大微囊藻prorocentrolidemicrocystinsspiroprorocentrimineparalytic shellfish toxinsProrocentrum limaAlexandrium minutumMicrocystis aeruginosa─水產養殖環境有害藻華之毒素及其毒理之研究Chemistry and Toxicology of Microalgal Toxins in Aquaculture Environmentjournal articlehttp://ntur.lib.ntu.edu.tw/bitstream/246246/20540/1/882312B002039.pdf
